My Kitchen By Chef at The Oasis

One Sunday after visiting Angkong in the temple and praying for him as well, the entire family went straight to My Kitchen By Chef Chris for a late lunch. It was about 2:30 in the afternoon so the place was pretty much deserted. Service was fabulous fast and the food was as always, extremely good.

We ordered the following:

COMPLIMENTARY WARM BREAD WITH PESTO AND OLIVE OIL DIP

We only had two refills because we didn't want to get full quickly.

CAESAR SALAD P490

Romaine hearts dressed with our classic garlic and anchovies dressing, topped with Parmesan cheese, bacon bits and freshly baked croutons. The greens were crisp and fresh. The dressing was very light. I would have loved it more if they added more dressing.

TOMATO SALAD WITH FRESH MOZARELLA AND BASIL P590

Sun ripe tomatoes with fresh mozarella cheese, basil and tuscan virgin olive oil. Rin ordered this. She eats raw tomatoes. Uhmm, I prefer cooked tomatoes so I just asked for some mozzarella cheese.

CREAM OF TOMATO SOUP P200

Topped with cream, croutons and fresh herbs. This is just a half serving of the soup. Everyone splitted an order of this soup. It's our favorite.

ORIGINAL TINLOU P780

Bacon, ham, caramelized onion, sun dried tomatoes and mushroom. They didn't have arugula so they just gave us extra alfalfa sprouts to be rolled with our panizza. It didn't taste the same for us but it was still good.

ORIGINAL VERENA P790

Tomato and white truffle oil enhanced cheese sauce topped with scallop, prawns and sun dried tomatoes. We always get the Genovese but this is better because it has truffle oil on it. This is now my newest favorite panizza!

RISOTTO OX-TONGUE P820

Dices of tender braised imported ox-tongue, assorted fresh mushrooms, asparagus and Italian broccoli, blended with pomodoro and marsala enhanced risotto perfected with butter and Parmesan cheese. My all time favorite risotto dish.

SPAGHETTI CON FRUITTI DI MARE P720

A blend of fresh salmon, dorado, snapper, prawns and imported mussels sauteed with light virgin olive oil, tomato, olives and capers.

RISOTTO TINLOU

Salmon fillet and prawn tails in perfect harmony with broccoli, mushroom and green asparagus in white truffle oil infused Parmesan risotto.

SLOW ROASTED LAMB RIBS WITH GARLIC AND ROSEMARY RUB P1100

Accompanied by braised lentils, olive fried potatoes and Italian style broccoli. The ribs were pretty dry. We were supposed to get the tender lamb shanks but it was not available.

Have A Lovely Day!
